Important Information regarding permission to take external courses not offered through the District:

Students wanting to enroll in external courses not offered through the District must obtain written permission from the Assistant Principal/School Counselor before enrolling. Grades and credits earned at outside institutions without prior approval will not be accepted. Students and parents need to discuss the request with the student's counselor before enrolling in other institutions. Our District offers a variety of summer school and enrichment opportunities that may fulfill your academic goals. Your counselor can help determine if a course aligns with your needs and guide you through the best course options, both within our school and externally, if needed. Access to Schoology is at lms.lausd.net

NOTE:

You MUST change your Schoology password through the PARENT PORTAL. (I know...it’s confusing)

LAUSD’s Parent Portal is where you can find basic information about your child.

Reset your Schoology Password (your Schoology password is your Parent Portal password)
View student class schedule and teacher’s name
Teacher email addresses
View and print standardized test scores
Print a copy of your progress reports and report cards
Update emergency contact phone numbers
Monitor attendance
Track graduation progress (High School)
